Talk:List of known swabbie names
I've noticed some names not on the list, but I'm not good enough with the english alphabet to add them correctly, so, here they are: Cap, Cluny, Charles, McCoy, Mort, Shelly, Simon, Jude, Rebekah, Jennifer, Noreen, Camilla, Samuel, Joseph, Pierce, Colin, William, Hawkins, Tibald, Brandy, Bess, Neil, Rachel. (Yes, I was bored and just hired/fired swabbies for a while :P). --VPeric 02:58, 4 April 2006 (PDT)
Questionable names
Is Hades really a swabbie name? --Barrister 13:33, 4 April 2006 (PDT)
- I've never seen that one, even on brigands. --Fannon 13:34, 4 April 2006 (PDT)
Can I get verification on the following names? They were added by Jessess who never replied to my question about his adding "Hades", a known incorrect name. Thanks. --Barrister 15:56, 27 April 2006 (PDT)

I just went through all my old logfiles. I found 962 unique <adjective> <name> swabbies. The adjectives repeat a lot, but I still had 365 unique <name> values. Here's the list of names that are on the wiki, but not in my logs. I suspect they're all valid, with the possible exception of Vlad. --Barrister 02:44, 26 June 2006 (PDT)

Land based swabbies
Okay, here's an idea that might get me hit, or mocked, or both. Do Land based swabbies remain the same after each reboot, and retain their positions (Outside roaming, or in Inn front rooms). If so, is it worth adding them? Also, do land based and ocean based NPCs share the same name lists. Oh, and when did Dora stop being a swabbie name?--Vurogj 02:45, 16 June 2006 (PDT)
- I have found the same swabbies located on the same islands and in the same inns. Month after month. If you're feeling like putting this information somewhere, it belongs on the associated island or inn page. It's not especially exciting information, but it's a perfectly reasonable addition to the wiki. --Barrister 14:32, 16 June 2006 (PDT)
