Soaring Gulls was a crew on the Midnight Ocean, flying the flag Carpe Noctem.
The crew previously flew the flag Silver Dawn.
History
Founded on March 5 2004 by Aegean, formerly of the Ransack Marauders, the crew originally flew the flag of of doom, then Pirates of Roundtable briefly. The Soaring Gulls eventually joined Silver Dawn under Countrytheta's leadership in early October 2004, through her friendship with Jip. Tammylynn assumed the captain's hat in the summer of 2005, and eventually passed the leadership of the crew onto Daleen later that summer. In January 2006, the captaincy passed over to Silentwolf and in March 2006, due to personal issues, the crew lost three of its Senior Officers; Daleen and Tammylynn who left both the crew and flag, and Zingman who joined The Cartographers. In June 2006, Ottoia took over the captaincy.
Countrytheta served as the Gulls' royalty representative until a few months before her departure from the crew, allowing Tammylynn to represent the crew instead. Zingman was then appointed as royalty representative several months later. Daleen also served as royalty for a time, followed by Silentwolf and Ottoia. Due to Ottoia's real life commitments, Silentwolf took back the captaincy in September 2006, and currently holds the crew's Royalty position. Some time after, she passed the royalty position to Devlishangel, and the captain's hat to Omege.
Their membership of Silver Dawn gave the Soaring Gulls two shoppes on the island of Eta, first the weavery Loominescence (which had its name changed to this) and then the tailor Turing's Turbans.
