Oldspunkmyer
Oldspunkmyer is the captain and surgeon of the crew Woop Woop and king of the flag The Free Folk. He formerly sailed the Viridian Ocean now known as the Meridian Ocean.
The beginning
Oldspunkmyer shipwrecked into the Puzzle Pirates community in the summer of 2008 and quickly met Pirates du Roi captain, Rhummie. He climbed through the ranks and was promoted to senior officer as one of the most active and hardworking pirates within the PDR. Many of the hearties he befriended during this time period were instrumental in educating him about the game and solidifying his foundation of knowledge. Oldspunkmyer began to earn a reputation as a fun-loving, capable, and eccentric pirate.
The middle
Oldspunkmyer then began to ponder what it would be like to have his own crew so he went on to form Woop Woop. Bringing with him many mates from PDR, Oldspunkmyer was able to establish an active and trusted crew which attracted other pirates to join. Woop Woop was a rising success, reaching its peak as the 16th fame crew on the Viridian Ocean. Woop Woop assembled under the flag Balls of Iron as a monarch and captain of the flagship crew.
An interest in having his own flag led Oldspunkmyer to creating Thundercats-Choco Rain, which has since been renamed The Free Folk. The flag achieved modest success, absorbing a number of crews and forming strong allies.
The return
After a six-year long hiatus, Oldspunkmyer returned to Puzzle Pirates mysteriously and seemingly without reason. He has been seen running pillages and building his crew once again after finding that the majority of his former crew and hearties have long been dormant. It has been noted that Oldspunkmyer has been sharpening his skills and improving his puzzling to its former levels. He is still known for his iconic tag-alongs which include Woopers the elephant and Seamus the seal.
