Loot

In addition any personal wealth in the pockets of the Pirates on board will be pilfered, to the same extent as the Hold.

Not true since global purse

To some extent it IS true...because none of the poe in the hold is pilfered ;). --Thunderbird 21:21, 26 January 2006 (PST)

Now that this is taken care of, maybe the recent change -which has more booty looted lead to more booty looted in the next battle- should be mentioned? --Emufarmers 23:45, 16 May 2006 (PDT)

Cannons and consequences

When a Sea Battle reaches boarding, crews who have sustained damage (and not repaired it) during the Sea Battle begin the boarding swordfight with stacks of Black Blocks proportional to the damage.

Repairing damage does not effect black blocks --Behindcurtai 21:23, 26 January 2006 (PST)

Hazards: Wind, Whirlpools, and Rocks

Escape

Note that in the bottom corner of the Battle panel you can see if there are three or less turns remaining before the defender can disengage.

Bottom corner? This is something I've overlooked til now. --Behindcurtai 21:26, 26 January 2006 (PST)

Sinking

Quoting the following: In such a battle if a vessel is hit by cannons, rocks, or the edge such that it becomes fully damaged then it will sink! Does sinking actually happen in war PvP if one hits the rocks or edge? It doesn't in blockades, as I found out when the navver on a WF I was on disconnected while we were sitting at near max damage in a wind heading straight into rocks (and bashed the rocks enough times to get sunk if that actually sank). --Thunderbird 00:01, 17 May 2006 (PDT)

The statement probably means to say that "if the ship is damaged enough..."; that is, it's basicly just using "hit by cannons, rocks, or the edge such that it becomes fully damaged" as an easier-to-understand way of saying "damage." It seems like that's the case in a lot of the official docs (nothing wrong with that: it makes it simpler to understand; it just tends to lead to contradictions with the exact manner in which things work). Or it could just be that it's out-of-date (because it would make no sense for it to be different in PvP than in blockades). Or some mixture of the two. I'm just rambling here. :P --Emufarmers 00:17, 17 May 2006 (PDT)

Grammar and stuffs

There are several words in this article that have been capitalised when they shouldn't be...and on the section on Auto-sail & token allocation - there is a typo 'keeep'... --Sagacious (talk) 03:16, 24 May 2006 (PDT)

"Duelling," which was just added to the first sentence is mispelled. --Emufarmers 20:14, 22 June 2006 (PDT)
I'm not seeing the error. "Duelling" is a valid spelling of the word. I checked http://www.m-w.com/ --Barrister 00:58, 23 June 2006 (PDT)
Archipelagoes is spelt incorrectly twice. Should be Archipelagos --Sagacious (talk) 06:39, 23 June 2006 (PDT)
No, it's not. It's spelled correctly twice. There are two correct plural forms. --Guppymomma 07:14, 23 June 2006 (PDT)
