Lunett

Lunett is currently a fleet officer for the crew Social Distancing on the Emerald Ocean. She is also known as the former captain of the crew The Vicious Fishes and monarch of their founding flag, Blood in the Water where she reigned with a sassy iron fist until going on hiatus and passing the crew down to her senior officers. She resides in a severely over-furnished townhouse on Aimuari Island, where she mostly just wanders around and talks to herself in a rather frightening manner.

Early life

Lunett has been an on-again, off-again pirate since 2007, sailing in various oceans under different names. She spent much of her early pirating career with no friends and made her income by participating in wench-like activities for a small fee. While she had brief success sailing with The Crimson Cows, she spent the bulk of her early career as an independent pirate and trying on clothes she couldn't afford. In time, she was overcome with an undying loneliness and she joined up with The Vicious Fishes, where she met her secret internet lover, Remnant and developed a severe addiction to poker, caused mostly by the fact that she was crap at every other aspect of the game.

Role as captain

In late August of 2010, the ugly, power-hungry senior officers of The Vicious Fishes took off and created their own crew out of jealousy, taking as many TVF members with them as they could. Remnant, depressed by the fact that some of her closest friends turned out to be scupperheads, eventually began operating the crew from the background, giving most of the control to Lunett, who laughed maniacally and bought a plethora of tiaras.

After several months of ruling the Ocean and controlling all of the islands (ok, that didn't actually happen), Lunett soon discovered that she actually had a real-life, that had real-life bills that weren't being paid, leaving the people in her life very unhappy with her. After her desperate and failed attempt to get PoE exchanged for Canadian Dollars, she finally gave up and realized that Puzzle Pirates wasn't going to support her mortal life, and she really missed shopping. She passed the crew on to her senior officers and went on hiatus. A while later, The Vicious Fishes disbanded largely due to inactivity and the fact that Lunett was the coolest one.

Return to Emerald and Social Distancing

Due to the current global pandemic threatening our lives and happiness, Lunett needed some new excuses to shirk her adult responsibilities and has once again found refuge in the pixelated waves of Puzzle Pirates. Shortly after rejoining the seas (which are called Emerald now, I guess?), she joined up with a pretty dope crew that sails under the name Social Distancing; a crew which she is rumoured to have chosen not only because the name was incredibly apt under the circumstances, but because it was also the first crew name on the top crew list that didn't make her cringe from all the #edginess. Also, Sonadora was really nice to her on a pillage once, so that was really cool.

Battle with addiction

Like many pirates, Lunett harbored a severe addiction to poker, spending many nights recklessly betting before the flop and going all in on stupid hands. After her time as captain, Lunett checked herself in to a poker-abuse rehabilitation center and had become an activist for responsible card playing across the oceans. Recently, rumours have begun circulating that she has suffered a relapse, and even taken up playing hearts, but those are unconfirmed AND NO THAT'S DEFINITELY NOT LUNETT UNDER THAT HOOD, PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE PIRATE BEHIND THE CURTAIN.
