Hoax
Hoax sailed the Viridian Ocean periodically, with large gaps of dormancy when he had forgotten to log on. Now he sails (using the term "sailing" very loosely) the Meridian Ocean instead, out of necessity. It's probable that he's currently in some crew, most likely as a Senior Officer, probably because he complained until they promoted him. However he isn't very loyal, so he jumps crews on a fairly regular basis, and doesn't want to bother updating this page each time.
Hoax has been annoying the Viridian (and Meridian) Ocean since he was "born" on February 6th, 2006. Or 2007. He can't remember, and is far too lazy to check. Though he managed to remember the specific day for some reason. However, the amount of time he's actually been consistently active is far less, probably around two or three years total, due to constantly getting distracted by shiny objects.
Accomplishments
- Has been both captain and king several times before, though once he took over, the crew/flag became largely unsuccessful
- Somehow obtained #1 poker player trophy, and won't let people forget about it
- Large collection of useless items, which to Hoax's chagrin are becoming much more useful
- Has managed to remain unbanned, against all probability

These days, Hoax can usually be found locked in his estate counting his fortune, cracking jokes and lazing during a pillage, sea monster hunt, or blockade, and just generally being useless. It is advised not to job him, as he will resist working to the point of being planked.
Though he can't remember them all, and cares far too little to try, he has been a crew member of such crews as Vesuvius, Hellas, Reality, The Devil's Ramrod, Black Rose Angels, and others too unimportant to have their own pages.
It should also be noted that encounters with Hoax can be extremely dangerous, as pirates have been known to burst into flames due to Hoax's sheer awesomeness.
He also likes to laugh at his own jokes.
