Headless Doubloon is a crew on the Sage Ocean. It has also been previously known as Power of Moonlight, Master and Commander, Sirens and Masters, and Caustic Affliction.

Story
Headless Doubloon's history stretches back to the early days of Sage, when Lenny and Headless founded Headless Doubloon on August 26, 2005. While many crew members were trained, were promoted, and then moved on, both founders decided to retire from the crew, passing the captaincy of the crew to Renaissance. After Renaissance himself retired from the game, he passed captaincy to Marux, who renamed the crew to Power of Moonlight, beginning a pattern of renaming the crew with each new captain's ascendency. After Marux left the crew to form Morbid Dreams (now part of The Lost Lot), Billybudd received captaincy of the renamed Master and Commander.
On September 30th, 2006, Laccie, one of Master and Commander's senior officers founded a new crew, Sirens and Masters, with a number of other pirates from Master and Commander. Master and Commander soon merged into Sirens and Masters, retaining Laccie as captain and ending the brief period of schism in the crew. Three months later, Laccie left Sirens and Masters to help her in-game husband Whalewacker start his own crew, Cannon Fodder.
Ceegee, the current captain of the crew, acquired her captaincy after Laccie's departure, initially renaming the crew to Caustic Affliction. As Ceegee has been a member of the crew since Lenny's initial captaincy, she attracted many of her old crewmates from Headless Doubloon back into the crew. As a result of this development, Caustic Affliction was renamed back to Headless Doubloon in March 2007, to honor both the history of the crew and the legacy of Lenny, it's first captain.
Headless Doubloon has sailed under many flags under its many names. As Master and Commander, it sailed under Deadman's Vengeance and The Far Side of Sage. As Sirens and Masters, it served under Hell's Wrath, Mind Games and Eternal Glory. As Caustic Affliction and under its current name, it has sailed under the flag of Hell's Wrath.
Promotion
- Cabin Person: Work on a pillage for two consecutive battles without leaving your station to laze or station hop.
- Pirate: Pillage with the crew enough so that the officers get to know you. Work on a pillage for three consecutive battles. Have a willingness to learn what you don't know and do well on what you do know. Be a team player. If Joey is bilging and it’s you’re your favorite job, be willing to sail instead if the pillage needs sailors. Experience must be Narrow in the three basic puzzles (carp, bilge and sails) with a skill level of Distinguished in one or more of these puzzles.
- Officer: Pillage with the crew for at least a month. Sail, bilge, carp, and bnav must be Master or above. Exceptions may be made by a majority vote of all Senior Officers. Pass a bnav test with another Senior Officer on the boat. Meet or exceed the crew expectations of how an officer will conduct themselves on a pillage.
- Fleet Officer: To have been officer in crew for at least a month and have earned the trust of the Captain and crew. Stats of Master or above in all pillage related stats (carp/gun/bilge/sail/nav/bnav). Exceptions may be made by a majority vote of all Senior Officers.
- Senior Officer: To be Fleet in crew for awhile and earn the trust of the Captain and crew.
- Captain: Position filled.
