Elite Vikings of Freedom is an independent dormant crew on the Emerald Ocean.
This crew formerly ran the colours of the flag Wind of changes on the former Hunter Ocean.

Elite Vikings Of Freedom's background
Once upon a time, in the cold north, there lived a small viking tribe called the vikings of freedom. Though few in number, they were strong in both body and spirit, and slaughtered all who threatened their way of life. Even without an appointed leader, they remained resolute in the face of adversity. The Mighty Norse gods Tor and Odin looked upon the crew, and saw fit to give them a captain to lead and protect them.
One fine September morning on Friday the 13th, 1985 a child was born under stars aligned. Odin endowed him with the wisdom of a fully grown man, and Thor granted him strength to equal the mightiest warriors. The tribe named this fated child Vanhaahr. Vanhaahr grew and when he came of age the gods made him captain of his people and renamed the crew Elite Vikings of Freedom.

As in the real world the vikings lives in the northern part of the world. and in this world of brigands and barbarians the Viking Gods have chosen the Ursa Archipelago to be the home of the Vikings.

Crew articles
We have a few rules in the crew I wish all to follow... repeated violation of these few and simple rules will result in getting expelled from the crew.
- Always be polite. Do to others as you like done to you.
- Always be helpful. All members in the crew shall help each other. Remember that someday, ye will be the one needing help.
- NO BEGGING. Being helpful doesn't mean giving PoE but advice or actual help with work in stalls or on a ship. Or even by giving advice.
- When borrowing one of the Captains Vessels ye will have to leave any Won charts from your pillage. Any PoE and goods won are yours to sell.
- In battle always team in teams of 2 and 3. You team by clicking on opponents head the dots indicates how many teaming on that opponent.
- If ye use a stocked vessel ye will need to restock it as before ye borrowed it.
- Read (and vote on) all posted issues it might be important matters. And that way ye will also keep up to date with what’s going on in the crew.
- If a Royal or the Queen asks to board your vessels you should never refuse.
Rankings
In the E.V.O.F. your personal and political skills are more important than your puzzle skills. This means that you won’t be officer+ just because of good stats. Stats and experience does weigh a little but as said before personal and political skills are weighing most. You have to prove that you are worthy of the rank you want before getting it.
Pirate
All new members should be made pirate as they join by the officer who made them join.
A pirate’s task is to get to know people in the crew, to do this you should join us on the forum this is where our crew develops and where all members can come with their own input. This is also where most of our events are announced and some of them require membership of the forum.
Officer
As the pirate proves loyal and active, he/she will increase both his experience and skills. There are no certain experience and skill requirement for officer, but you must prove to at least 2 of the senior officers that you are loyal to both the crew and flag.
As officer you can’t access coffers on unlocked ships but we will make sure that there will be stocked and charted ships available for most of the ocean, so you can start making pillies on your own. If you do need some help starting out let any F.O+ know and they will (if they can) help you out. All officers should be active on our crew forum and make a short report about every pilly they make, this might inspire some of the other members in the crew and bond us even closer.
Fleet Officer
When the officer has proven both loyal and active, and has gained some skills and experience, he will get in consideration to be promoted to Fleet officer.
A fleet officer needs to be a helpful Viking and needs to know how to make a pilly so he can help the officers getting started. The fleet officer is part of the most trusted in the crew and should therefore have been with the crew for some time and needs to hold the navy rank of Lieutenant Commander. You need this rank with the navy cause this proves that you are willing to participate in the game not only for the PoE but cause you like the game, and most people who do the navy puzzles are good stable pirates.
Senior Officer
The senior officers are the most trusted members and work as Vice-captains. This means that senior officers know each other and most Officer+ Members. The senior officers take part in crew development, taking care of new members, training members, and flag issues.

A very active and trusted member of the crew, very active in crew development. Also an incredible bilger on CI's. A titled member in the flag, Lukin is the most political minded S.O in the crew and has done great from the day he joined. He is part of the reason why the crew is doing this great. Lukineight is an American Viking.
- Chimpduck
Senior Officer and sailmaster
Very active and does a lot to help, generating events for the crew. Also a great sail/rig tokener at our many CI's. A titled member in the flag, Chimpduck was also one of the reasons why our crew is doing so great. Chimpduck is a British Viking.
- Cardsplay
Senior officer and cards sharp
Cardsplay is a very active Canadian Viking, and part of the reason our crew is this great. He is very active in all aspects of the game and is a trusted and loyal Viking.
- Viso
Senior Officer and midshipman
An active pirate in all aspects of the game and on our community pages. Viso has done a lot of work with crew development and is one of the minds behind our ranking system. Viso is a Canadian Viking.
- Maddehpirate
Fleet Officer and damsel
Maddeh gained her title winning our monthly sloop contest. She is a very active pirate with good manners, and is respected among her higher ranked officers. maddeh pirate is very active training new members in the crew
