Crut
Crut (pronounced Krʌt), is a pirate on the Cerulean, Meridian, Emerald, and Ice Oceans. However, his home is and always will be on the Cobalt and Cerulean Oceans. There, he is currently captain and swordsman of Serial Pillagers and prince of the flag The Art of War. He currently resides on the shores of Nu Island in the Opal Archipelago.

Biography
Crut, formerly known as Ashaw, sailed into the port of Sakejima Island to begin his piratey adventures in 2011. After making a new core of friends and re-learning the ropes of being a pirate, Crut was recruited to join the crew The Awesome Pirates, a crew known for its swordfighting prowess, by its captain, Stabsolo. After quickly rising to the rank of senior officer, Crut began to enter the work of pirate politics and under the flag Genocide joined into the closed alliance with Mixed Nuts, National Pirate Radio, All Hands On Deck, and Indestructible Fury.
After some time, the crew and flag dissolved and Crut was recruited by Kingjes to join Serial Pillagers. Again, he rose quickly in the ranks and became a senior officer and soon the title of lord in the flag The Art of War, which was led by then captain and queen Sassythang. Due to Sassythang's desires to invest more time into Meridian, Crut was given the opportunity to take the role of prince in The Art of War, and captain of Serial Pillagers.
Since then, he has led blockades on Nu Island, Orca Island, Gaea Island (unsuccessful), and Garden Cradle (unsuccessful) while maintaining an alliance with Ladychp and the flag Cerulean's Most Wanted, as well as Acta Non Verba and The Iron Moon. He currently enjoys the simple life of having a drink and a quick duel with swords, cards, or fists in the local inn.
Crut is a know proponent of the fight for Cerulean, a cause determined to sustain activity and enjoyment on the Cerulean Ocean.
He is also known for his participation in familiar tournaments. He has currently won 13 to date, 5 of which were Swordfighting, 5 which were Rumbling, and 3 which were Drinking. He has also won 2 familiars in puzzling competitions, both of which were in the puzzle of Carpentry. His first ever familiar came in the form of Buttered Popcorn, a banana/tan parrot won from a banana box in 2011. He currently still owns the bird. He is not interested in selling any familiars he has won, as keeping them is a sign of his history in the game.
In addition, he keeps themes for each type of familiar he owns. For parrots the theme is popcorn. The significance of this theme comes from a famous Crazylotta quote, which pirates can ask Crut about if they run into him. For octopi, the theme is character names from the Key & Peele East/West College Bowl Youtube Series. For monkeys, the theme comes from the infamous TV show The Office.
