Barney is a pirate on Hunter Ocean. He is a senior officer in the crew The Eternal Hydrae, and is a member of the flag EAC.

Biography

Barney's pirate life began on November 5, 2007. After briefly joining the crew Sexaliciousness, he found a home with The War Falcons in mid-November. It was with The War Falcons that he really learned the ropes of piracy, achieving Legendary standing on bilge, sails, and dnav, and even reaching Ultimate in carpentry. His hard work did not go unnoticed as he progressed through the ranks until he reached Senior Officer in April, 2008.

Barney remained there until October 1, 2008, when he finally made a long anticipated move to The Eternal Hydrae in order to spend more time with his in-game and real life wife, Catkinn. Alyhs, Eternal Hydrae's captain, had been avidly (and good-naturedly) recruiting Barney for quite some time, and he was happily welcomed with the rank of Fleet Officer; the following month, he regained the rank of Senior Officer.

Having recently finished memorizing the ocean, Barney can most often be found battling skellies or zombies, or jobbing on the latest Cursed Isles run. Barney also enjoys helping Catkinn furnish their villa on Aimuari Island.

Goals

Get standing in all duty puzzles to at least Renowned.
Establish and maintain a reputation as both a loyal and dependable crew mate/officer and as a hard-working and desirable jobber.
Retain a permanent spot on the Ultimate list for Carpentry.
Get more bnav experience (specifically pillages and Cursed Isles).

Noteworthy Achievements

Achieved his first navigation victory versus a Brigand King in his very first attempt by besting Admiral Finius while solo memorizing on his sloop, Adventurous Herring, between Paihia and Maia on May 1, 2008.
Won his first skull trinket after a 17-round fray on Alkaid Island that lasted roughly 2½ hours and spanned September 6-7, 2008
Finished collecting the entire Atlantis trinket collection on October 19, 2009
Finished memorizing Hunter Ocean on October 22, 2009
Top Carpentry rank achieved: 23rd
Top Foraging rank achieved: 6th
Best consecutive Masterpiece string in carp: 23 (MP^15 + MP^8)
