The Night Owls are a crew on the Midnight Ocean. Upon the implosion of Rogues' Pact, Marble, dissatisfied with the autocratic organization of Seraph's Nightmare, decided to convert her vanity crew, The Night Owls, into her primary crew.
Initially, all but one of the members of The Night Owls were alts of members of United Pillagers. Marble initially stayed in United Pillagers for a time and captained The Night Owls under the name Hyrana. The crew decided to make a fresh start far from Hephaestus' Forge, settling first at Turtle Island and later at Park Island. After much deliberation and a time under the single crew flag Banner of the Owls, The Night Owls chose to join the flag Midnight Armada.
About a year after the crew joined Midnight Armada, Marble found herself spending more time playing an alt on Cobalt than her character on Midnight. She chose to put down the captain's hat, passing it on to Sunsetpork. After a few months, Howee was made captain, initially with the sole purpose of his using shanghais the Crew had acquired in merging with The Ratty Rats, Howee and Vari's original crew. In this merger The Night Owls gained but one active member, Karplusan. To date, Howee has not yet used these shanghis and remains captain, a situation that seems to sit well with Howee, Sunsetpork, and the rest of the crew.
