Remora Island is an outpost island in the Sapphire Archipelago. There are four known routes from the island: Beta Island, The Horseshoe Crabs, and inter-archipelago routes to Byrne Island and Papaya Island in the Diamond Archipelago.

History
Remora I — 2004-08-28, Widows and Orphans vied for Remora, but was thwarted by a massive defense comprised heavily of Crimson Tide.
Remora II — 2004-09-15, Blood Eagles won Remora in twelve rounds. Five rounds were won by the defenders. A second contender, Heros of Midnight, did not win any rounds.
Blood Eagles named the original fort "Whocutta Fort" but changed it to "Fort Narthex" after receiving complaints[1].
Remora III — 2004-10-24, Allied Foundation won control of Remora in seven rounds; it was the first time a player-controlled island was taken.
Remora IV — 2005-02-06, Notorious Fandango blockaded but lost in three rounds.
Remora V — 2005-04-16, Death Before Dishonor won a sinking blockade for control of Remora in three rounds.
Death Before Dishonor changed its name to Disturbing the Peace, retaining control of Remora. (Date is approximately 2005-05-16)
Disturbing the Peace disbanded. Dark Judgement took control of Remora.
2005-08-25, Dark Judgement cedes the island to Lunar Bin [2].
Remora VI — 2005-11-05, Kol Nidre blockades and Lunar Bin successfully defends the island in 3 rounds.
Remora VII — 2007-9-01 Remora is blockaded by the Brigand King Azarbad the Great and his flag The All-Consuming Flame and loses in 3 rounds. Lunar Bin retains the island.
Remora VIII — 2007-12-08, Remora is blockaded by Punks of the Sea and Blighted. Lunar Bin retains the island in 3 rounds.
Remora IX — 2008-08-23, Vexillam Odiamus blockades and loses in 4 rounds, Lunar Bin retains the island.
