Widows and Orphans is a flag on the Midnight Ocean
History
Widows and Orphans was formed from the ashes of two once-great flags: Nyx's Scions and The Pillage People (including the crew Black Widows).
Later joined by Cupcake Inquisition (previously Crociata Imperio), Widows and Orphans are enjoying a new life. They presently eschew politics, preferring to shopkeep, pillage, and provide a stable place for formerly-lonely crews.
In June of 2006, they took control of Cnossos as the host flag for Quiglin who was elected Governor in a contest held after the Cnossos restoration project. ARR left the flag shortly after to experience blockading and wars which the rest of the flag was not interested in.
