The poniard is one of the seventeen sword types available to players in the game. It is produced at iron mongers. On subscription oceans, the poniard may only be used by subscribers.

The poniard has a reputation as a poor sword in PVP fights. Even though it does have very potent 1 layer sprinkle attacks, the board never gets scrambled enough from those clears alone. The entire middle column can be cleared with a single breaker and the poniards strikes send increasingly more blocks the stronger the attack gets.

Although it shares a lot in common with the Skull dagger it is far worse than it in every aspect and even gets countered by such.

As a result its not recommended to pick up the poniard as your sword of choice.
