Morien
Morien (? - 25/04/2008) was a corsair who sailed the Sage Ocean, holding the rank of Senior Officer in the Knights of Saint George.
Biography
Morien, former captain of a one-man crew whose name has been forgotten, in May 2007 met the captain of the Knights of Saint George, who was at that time looking for officers willing to join the naval force recently founded. He accepted Pishkirlin's offer, along with the rank of Officer as proof of his humility. His loyalty to the crew and his chivalric virtues were after a short while rewarded with a promotion to Senior Officer. Along with his dashing sense of humor, Morien was praised for his strategic skills. He used to run in circles to cause dizziness to brigands. Like his captain, he was a sloop lover and his dream was to have such a vessel in every port. A dream that never came true, due to his early disappearance in April 2008.
Fond of botany he loved shrubberies and decorated the main deck of one of his sloops with two potted plants that in his opinion served the purpose of scaring brigands.
Repertoire
Morien loved to entertain his crew and rat singing little songs. He sang about...
- ...how he will protect his shrubbery to the death!
- ...going hunting sea beasties and shrubberies on the Plain Ling.
- ...how he has a lovely little shrubbery!
- ...how if you come pillying on the Plain Ling there will be shrubberies, there will be sea beasties, there will be terrified brigands weeping into their beards.
- ...shrubberies.
- ...teaming.
- ...the gracious, the welcoming, the Hospitable Plaice, which will shortly be showing those rascally brigands their place at the bottom of Davy Jones locker.
- ...the terrified fleeing brigands.
- ...shrubberies under his breath... "Once I had a little shrubbery and then there were two...".
- ...shrubberies and rascally bad brigands and sea beasties and treasure and strange little octopi that live in shallow water. Well if you were an octopus would you live in shallow water? See? Strange little octopi!
- ...brigands falling overboard in terror at the sight of a pair of very fine shady shrubberies appearing over the horizon.
