Crimson Assurance is a crew on the Sage Ocean. It is a member of the flag Spontaneous Combustion. It is named after a Monty Python 1983 short feature, The Crimson Permanent Assurance.
History
It was founded on March 26th 2007 when Galilei, Land, Socrates and Switzer decided to leave the crew A World Of Fun to start a new crew under the leadership of Galilei. They were soon joined by fellow pirates Bandanagirl and Blackbun, and a while later, by Wickedwench.
On April 2nd, 2007, the crew saw to the foundation of the flag Spontaneous Combustion, with Land as monarch.
The crew has achieved the crew rank of imperial for the first time on April 15th 2007.
Buckler has been promoted to captain after his crew Dark Knights of Sage (crew)Dark Knights of Sage merged into Crimson Assurance. Galilei became a senior officer.

PROMOTION GUIDELINES
Cabin Person : Ask any officer, welcome aboard!
Pirate : BROAD experience in all 4 basic duty puzzles (Sail, Bilge, Carp and Gun).
Officer : SOLID experience and MASTER standing in all 4 duty puzzles, plus Duty Navigation and Battle Navigation. Must know how to manage a ship.
Fleet Officer : Must have shown dependability and reliability as an Officer. Show us we can trust ye with the content of our ship holds, har!
Senior Officer : Must show intense dedication to the crew. We expect a SO to know what's going on in the crew.
