Roman Navy is a dormant crew that sails the Meridian Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of Flaming Crazies.

History
Roman Navy was originally founded on the former Viridian Ocean under the name SPQR on 21 June, 2005 by Caesar. Its officers have included Mcgillicutti, Caesar's good friend, and Emufarmers, Mcgillicutti's brother, as well as Bencojo and Ksmfg.
Originally part of Scuppering Seven Seas, Roman Navy stayed with the flag - as it became The Borg - for some time. They eventually left to form their own flag, simultaneously merging with Appleboy's/Apples's crew, Men of War, and with Ksmfg's crew, The Used. They ultimately ended up in Regnum Irae, along with Reckless Reptiles.
Over time, Roman Navy's size diminished as its members left for other things. However, the crew's core oligarchy continued to have some involvement in flag affairs and blockades, thanks in part to Caesarae's considerable wealth. The advent of poker drew off some of the crew's base.
On 10 March 2006, the position of captain was handed to Emufarmers. A few days later, Caesarae decided to leave the crew with Mcgillicutti for Brave New World, leaving the crew in Emufarmers's hands.

This is Emufarmers's (formerly Caesarae's) crew, run with the support of our fine officers. We pay jobbers as much as the rest of our crew.
Please support our crew by shopping at Rags and Riches (Caesarae's Shoppe on Kirin) and buying your booze from Caesarae's Distilling Stall on Lima or Roman Liquors on Kirin.
We are not presently entertaining flag invites, except on weekends.
