The Avengers was a flag on the former Sage Ocean. This flag has been disbanded.
Public statement
We're buccaneers, we're here, get used to it.
Ahoy! We are a small and established flag, quickly gaining fame as the biggest little flag on Sage. Socializing, messing about with our stalls and pillaging are our main activities, but we're also quite busy running Spaniel Island. Basically, we just like to have fun, help our allies and take care of our crews.
All crews are titled at least 1 titled spot. Royalty? Well, that's up to you.

Mission
It is our position that Puzzle Pirates is a game, and therefore meant to be fun and enjoyable. We endeavour to keep the fun in the game, while respecting the people behind the pirates. Fun comes in many form - socializing, pillaging, blockading, carousing, etc. It is our goal to provide a flag where all pirates can be fostered and fun activities can be enjoyed.
History
The Avengers was founded by Hivenst after the now defunct Sage Subrunners left Allied Saruyama Forces. There was a number of spin off crews from Sage Subrunners that joined up with Hivenst, but the only remaining from the founding crews is The Sickness. After Hivenst left as monarch, the flag underwent some turbulent times of drifting with no direction. In late summer, 2006, Scurvycrab took over as the 3rd monarch.
On November 17, 2006, The Avengers dropped a war chest for the first time in their history. The blockade on November 18, 2006 at Spaniel Island was a non-sinking blockade against Hell's Wrath. With the help of an outstanding admiral and nav team, The Avengers were able to pull of a win in three rounds.And, As of 5/6/07 at 8pm, it will cease to exist.
