Maia Island is a medium island in the Pleiades Archipelago. There are four known routes from the island: Gallows Island, Iocane Island, Morgana Island, and Paihia Island.

History
A broken chest on the southern coast of the island reads, "This island were fashioned by Yngvild."
This island is most likely named for Maia, the eldest of the Pleiades, but may also refer to the star of the same name.
Commodities market Bear Market was added with introduction of Gems to Hunter Ocean on Jun 1, 2007.
During the 2008 Halloween events, this island was the location of the Masquerade Ball, and was decorated with Halloween-themed furniture and pets for the occasion.
