At iron mongers, two enamels are used to produce swords. The enamel can change the color arrangment of a sword's drop pattern. The blue, purple, and green enamel will mirror a sword's drop pattern if used on the guard of the sword (first color).

At distilleries, enamel is used to produce mugs. At this time, the color of a mug is strictly decorative.

Black enamel

Blue enamel

  • Elderberries: 6 units
  • 1 hour of basic labor
  • 1 hour of skilled labor

Green enamel

  • Iron: 4 units
  • Nettle: 6 units

  • 1 hour of skilled labor

Orange enamel

Purple enamel

  • Iron: 4 units
  • Pokeweed berries: 6 units
  • 1 hour of skilled labor
  • 1 hour of expert labor

Red enamel

  • Iron: 4 units
  • Madder: 6 units
  • 1 hour of basic labor
  • 1 hour of skilled labor

White enamel

  • Yarrow: 6 units
  • 2 hours of basic labor

Yellow enamel

  • Iron: 4 units
  • Weld: 6 units

Ice-only enamels

The following colors are available only on the Ice Ocean. They may not be used for swords.

Aqua enamel

Brown enamel

  • Iron: 4 units
  • Old man's beard: 6 units

Grey enamel

Secondary Use

Enamel can also be used as a refined commodity for the production of furniture:

  • Five units of green enamel and five units of yellow enamel are needed to make a bar shelf.
  • Two units of yellow enamel and two units of orange enamel are needed for a bird cage.
  • Two units each of red, blue, green, and yellow enamel are needed to make a curvy shelf.
  • Two units of white enamel are needed for a fancy bed.
  • Four units of red enamel are needed for a fancy chair.
  • Six units of orange enamel are needed for a fancy wardrobe.
  • One unit of white enamel is needed for a marble end table.
  • Two units of white enamel are needed for a marble table.
