As far as I know, Brigands are the only way to make money directly from the game. All others must come from other players, in one form or another. Ergo, pillaging may possible be the most important form of income in the game!
- Not quite the only way, but yes, probably the most common. Other PoE fountains include skellies, the navy, wagers from NPPs, and the profit from selling gems. – Yaten talk 06:29, 13 August 2005 (PDT)
Mention of Chainsaw Brigands
Are "chainsaw" brigands important enough to mention in this article? It seems to me like it might be, but I'd like to see what others think (as always).--Zyborg22 18:57, 31 January 2006 (PST)
Ocean payout levels
Over on the Navy page, there is a listing of what the payout is for each ocean.
Has anyone attempted to determine the per-ocean payouts of brigands?
In other words, if you attack green brigands with known SB levels, what do you see from brigands?
Given the changes that will be coming (with Sea Battle going bye-bye), we'd need to get some base ratings in before the change if we want to have any hope of comparing it after the change. --Behindcurtai 01:40, 1 March 2006 (PST)
Barbarian redirect?
Shouldn't barbarians have their own page, instead of redirecting here? ~Remalle
- There's little difference between the two (only the boarding puzzle differs), so they were merged. Barbarian redirects to here. --Thunderbird 12:50, 7 June 2006 (PDT)
