YPPedia talk:Image tags

How about {{contest}} for images that are related to entries to an ongoing contest being run on the wiki? (e2, the tutorial contest, etc.) As many images used for events may duplicate existing content, they need a tag to indicate that they do serve a purpose and aren't just duplication. --Teeg 10:14, 1 March 2006 (PST)

Whirly Math screenshots?

I'm uploading a lot of images that are screenshots from Lordkalvan's Whirly Math applet, fer use in the Whirlpool tutorial and related pages. None of the existing templates seems to fit, so I did not include any template. Wiki interface

Avatar Revolutions

Do we need an image tag specifically for the Avatar Revolutions competition? Only the free-floating recipient user breaks the {{avatar}} ^(Usage) tag a little. --Belthazar451 21:36, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Some available tags not on the list?

Would you please update YPPedia:Image tags page to include all available tags? I am new to all this editing stuff. However, I have found some image tags which are not listed. ( e.g. {{background image}} ^(Usage), {{clothing image}} ^(Usage), and {{Eggcontestentry}} ^(Usage)...I'm sure, these are not the tag frequently used.) I am afraid but I think that searching no-listed image tags and using properly them are difficult for me. I also think maybe other new YPPedia users think same.--Piripuwa 13:38, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Sure, by adding <noinclude>[[Category:Image tags]]</noinclude> to the template. I'm currently doing this for all I know of, but chances are I will overlook some. Since the server thinks he has to invalidate the cached version of all the pages such a template is included in, I give it some time to catch up before editing the next batch of templates (see job queue length at Special:Statistics). --Alfwyn 14:35, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Thank you again. I think that adding sort key (<noinclude>[[Category:Image tags|{{PAGENAME}}}}]]</noinclude>) is better. I also guess we can see the list on category page easily if sorted because the number of "image tags" will increase in the future.--Piripuwa 00:58, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
