- It has only been 4 months since the last nomination. That is too soon to be requesting again. In addition, protecting official pages is not really something that we're in need of more people for, as new pages in that namespace are uncommon, and OMs usually take care of protecting those pages within minutes of their creation, usually faster than we even notice. Also, the reason for nomination is not a very good one. I also have other issues, but this is getting a bit long. --Thunderbird 22:58, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. - Despite having had 4 months to work on everything that was mentioned during his last nomination, Addison continues to click on Save or Move before thinking things through, resulting in mistakes such as those made while filling out this RfA. Because of the tendency to be careless, I don't think that giving him the ability to delete pages would be wise. I echo Thunderbird's comments about the Official pages and one does not need to be an administrator to answer questions. --Guppymomma 01:06, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with both Guppymomma and Thunderbird. Deleting pages is not everything, we have some pages here to preserve history. And seeing how its only been four months i still do not think your ready. 2,250 edits... someone with a new account can edit and save the same page 2,250 times. You may become one eventually but its not today.--V1nc3
- Oppose. - Along with the above comments, I believe there is still an attitude issue that prevents me from supporting this nomination. There has not been shown, ever, enough of a subjective, neutral view to this users edits. Also, I do not believe there has been much in the way of "technical" edits to the Yppedia. 2,000+ edits of checking on flag and crew defunct status while important, does not make an administrator. -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:44, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Neutral
- Essentially, the two questions asked below boil down to "why should you become an admin?" and "why should you become an admin?" The first question asks you to justify yourself, and the second asks you to promote yourself. From my point of view, you haven't really addressed either. My attempt below to get you to clarify didn't get much responce, and even Cedarwing's more forceful interjection only garnered links to two pretty much standard articles. It seems to me like you want to become an admin simply for the sake of becoming an admin, and that's not a good reason. --Belthazar451 05:35, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Comments
- You say "I am pleased with all my articles." - have you got any specific examples? --Belthazar451 07:42, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- For articles, I have no favorites. For contributions I am pleased with my updating of the egg page and crew information. --Addihockey (talk/contribs) 10:24, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- You seem to not understand that we are looking for specific examples (links to pages or specific edits) that show your capabilities as an editor, neutral party, technical creations, etc. Your edits to the egg pages (a couple simple entry additions and uploads) are something you are proud of? Have you read through all the Standards that other admins and users are looking for in a future admin? -- Cedarwings (talk) 22:49, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay then, neutral party, as in neutral point of view? If that's the case you can check some of my crew articles Golden Knights and Swordfighters of Sage. Technical creations, as in formatting etc? I haven't done many edits which involve much formatting but I am willing to show my capabilities in formatting. --Addihockey (talk/contribs) 01:32, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
- A. I am interested in deleting articles, protecting official pages and images and generally answering any questions asked by new users.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to YPPedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. Once again, I am pleased with all my articles.
