Verziga
Verziga is a pirate on the Sage Ocean. He is senior officer and ambassador of the crew Deadliest Catch. He is also the creator of several limited edition portrait backgrounds.
Biography
Verziga's history in Puzzle Pirates is somewhat of a mystery. Some will tell you that he's been sailing around Sage since the beginning but it's widely believed that he actually joined sometime in the early months of 2010. What is known is that he's competent in all the piracy skills but favours sailing and carpentry above all others. At first glance his fighting skills seem relatively weak but he'll soon prove otherwise and has been hailed on more than one occasion as being a superb team player in sea battles and other fray encounters.
Not known for his love of gambling, Verziga prefers the feeling of working for what he gets and has a preference for grafting on the blockades to earn his living. There are reports that he's been spotted on various other oceans from time to time...usually around the time of a blockade but these are unconfirmed and generally denied.
In July 2010 Verziga chose to make use of his real life designing skills and entered Apollo's portrait background competition. To his astonishment, his entry was picked amongst the winners and he was awarded with the Dread Masterpiece trophy which he claims to be the defining moment of his Puzzle Pirates career. He has since entered the competition every month, winning again on 5 separate occasions and can now usually be found at his easel in the garden of his bungalow on Lincoln Island, hard at work on his latest creation.
