Ahoy... I was going through the recent changes, and I ran across the edits to Yavor. If you'd like to see the page history, take a look here, and I think you can see why it's sticking out at me :-/. I don't want to discourage you from editing, because it's good to see you putting so much effort into improving your page... but it's always good wiki practice to get into using the Preview button instead of just posting stuff directly, because that way you know if you like what you're about to post before you actually do, so you can catch things like spelling/grammar, line breaks, formatting, and so on without having to waste time and effort making tons of minor edits. In any event, welcome to the YPPedia, and good luck in future! --Kgarrett1969 11:42, 18 May 2007 (PDT)
- Ahoy there. Your huge number of tiny edits to Yavor and Sandbox now cover a large proportion of the Recent changes list. Please save up your bunches of minor edits until you have something significant to add to the page. Also, please avoid over-capitalizing words, linking to the same article more than once in the same article, and removing links other users have added to perfectly reasonable articles. Thanks. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 12:35, 18 May 207 (PDT)
- Please stop spamming the Recent changes list. Thank you. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 13:15, 18 May 2007 (PDT)
- You seem unable to comprehend HOW ANNOYING your spamming of the Recent Changes list is. PLEASE STOP. I have tried being polite and helpful, it doesn't seem to work. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SAVE EVERY TINY EDIT YOU MAKE. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 09:32, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
Being a nuisance
Oh, how I would love to be able to say "This is your last warning. The next time you create lots of extra work for other editors, you will be blocked from editing the YPPedia." However, I do not have this authority, so I will not say that. Just stop creating work for other editors. I shouldn't have to edit Yavor every FIVE SECONDS to remove the next piece of nonsense or insanely annoying formatting you add to it. This is meant as an encyclopedia, not a personal web hosting service. Have a good day.
This is the last message I am going to leave you here. It seems to be rather like talking to a brick wall, so I might as well stop wasting my time. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 10:08, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
Blocked
Since you seem to be ignoring the warnings given to you by other users about your constant spamming of Recent Changes, you have been blocked for a week. When the block is lifted, please use the Preview button instead of constantly saving very minor edits. It will save strain on other editors. Thank you. --Thunderbird 11:32, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
Welcome back but...
Ahoy! I was about to give you a message about the number of edits to Yavor but I see you have been told about that before and even blocked from editing for a week because of it. Next time the block will be a month. The preview button is your friend. Also please note that a policy exists that says that trophies are not permitted on pirate pages. I have removed them. Fair winds! -- Cedarwings (t/c) 09:25, 27 May 2007 (PDT)
- Ahoy... as per that same policy, I've also removed the list of standard-named vessels from Yavor. Fair winds! --Ponytailguy 09:53, 27 May 2007 (PDT)
Adminship
Your request for adminship has been vetoed by Eurydice, the wiki Ocean Master. Candidates for adminship must have a good record of behavior in game. Please do not apply for adminship again, as you will be vetoed again. Also, if you continue to make multiple edits without using the preview button, you will be blocked from editing yet again. --Guppymomma 09:56, 27 May 2007 (PDT)
Lists of standard named ships on pirate pages
The policy on individual pirate articles states that lists of standard named ships are not permitted. -- Faulkston 18:57, 3 July 2007 (PDT)
