Arr, try to avoid makin' so many edits, and use the preview button instead, aye? Thankie. :P --Emufarmers 19:44, 29 April 2006 (PDT)
- There's a difference between lack of previewing and updating with new information, hope you learn what it is. —Sivius(T/C) 19:46, 29 April 2006 (PDT)
- A fair point Siv, but could ye try to add more new info per edit. If not don't worry, just there is a bit of a Recent Changes flood ahappening right now... --Sagacious 19:59, 29 April 2006 (PDT)
- To be fair, it's no different from the mass bumping and image uploading we did a few weeks ago. Give him a break. --Featherfin 20:25, 29 April 2006 (PDT)
Scarymuffin
Thanks for helping me out with my main name page :) --ScaryMuffin 17:26, 11 May 2006 (PDT)
Indigo
Thanks for getting those pages started. --Barrister 00:15, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- No problem. I'm probably going to be getting some updates for them tomorrow, although without being able to get to those locations, maps would be a little difficult. Some arch info, such as buildings and governments should be easy around Diamond/Emerald. —Sivius(T/C) 00:21, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- If you're actually on the Indigo server, please verify the various island sizes. Some of them differ from Midnight. --Barrister 00:27, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- Was able to verify Diamond sizes, I'm stuck there, so I can't check elsewhere. See User:Sivius/indigo islands. —Sivius(T/C) 01:01, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'm not subscribed there, so I dont know how much help I can be - I have access to a ship with charts on it. If I can get someone to job you (tricky), then there's charts to Guava (col), park (uncolonized), monsoon (?), Chap (?). The ship itself is at Eta, so that'll whisk you to Ruby. I'm told that Jet only has a market, but nobody knows where. Typhoon is supposed to be colonized, but I can't find a chart to go check it out. I have never seen a chart to opal, pearl, or sapphire. Could push my Wrassenpumpen to broad and hop navy ships, I suppose. Is your account still green? The greeters there are ALL over the place, and lacking greenies to help. I'd ask them for charts if I could see em. ;) Morgan speaks english well, if you're in the mood to hassle an OM. --Zava 07:26, 2 May 2006 (PDT)

- I speak quite a bit - need some
roughtranslating? --Sagacious 11:05, 2 May 2006 (PDT)- Sure, all of their islands are at: wiki.gamigo.de/wiki/Kategorie:Insel, a little help with island size verifications would be great (If they even have that info in there). —Sivius(T/C) 11:13, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- Actually, I think I've got it. Babelfish is my friend.—Sivius(T/C)
- Babelfish is naff lol. It doesn't translate some juicy parts properly ;-) Any particular pages you want translated - let me know. --Sagacious 11:20, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- Odd, according to what I picked up, they have no Medium or small islands, everything is either Large or an Outpost.

Some are incorrect. Oyster is a large island... checking the rest. --Sagacious 12:22, 2 May 2006 (PDT)- Ok seemed to be the only error. Yes strange no Med islands. Probably part of the switch to island size categorisation. --Sagacious 12:33, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- Well, the info we've got so far is still far better than nothing at all. I can probably blame the Oyster error on "Oyster" looking similar to "Outpost" —Sivius(T/C) 12:45, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- Need someone to move building/governance info over Babelfish translation just isn't cutting it. --—Sivius(T/C) 20:09, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- FYI, shoppe, crew, and flag names should remain in the original German. That only applies to names, though. --Barrister 21:16, 2 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'd add all the info if I knew what info we are trying to translate and add. Ye want me to add the building names and types onto the island pages? --Sagacious 07:56, 3 May 2006 (PDT)
- What's needed is the buildings, aye, the names should be kept in German, which is easy enough to copy over. What I can't seem to get at is what building is what type, and if it's upgraded or not. --—Sivius(T/C) 12:59, 3 May 2006 (PDT)
- Somewhat easy to translate. It's on my to-do list for the next day or so. --Sagacious 14:52, 3 May 2006 (PDT)

- To assist you and others who might not understand German that well, building translations are as follows:
- Regierungsgebäude - Government Buildings
- (Palast) - Palace
- (Rohstoffmarkt) - Commod. market
- (Grundstücksmakler) - Estate Agent
- (Kneipe) - Inn
- Häuser - Housing
- (Schuppen) - Shack
- (Stadthaus) - Townhouse
- (Reihenhaus) - Rowhouse
- (Herrenhaus) - Manor
- Ausstatter - Furnisher
- Brennereien - Distillery
- Eisenhändler - Iron monger
- Schneider - Tailor
- Weber - Weavery
- Werften - Shipyard
Don't think I've missed any. Any others ye spot - let me know. Also just about to complete Diamond buildings - maybe someone else will do the others? --Sagacious 16:25, 3 May 2006 (PDT)
Flag Pages
Thanks for creating some of the most wanted flag pages. Just a small note, please add the allies list as well, since I assume you looked at the pages for the crew list. Otherwise, other editors will assume there are no allies and add "None" to the box when that isn't necessarily true (like me!). And as an aside, you're managing to make the infoboxes all bunched up (in the edit screen). Not sure if you're doing it on purpose or not, or even how its happening, but keeping it all list like helps the newer editors to update information. :) --Fannon 09:51, 3 May 2006 (PDT)
- Ah, they're all bunched up because of a firefox wiki-template memorization extension. I'll gladly move them over to something that can handle line breaks (Perhaps Shortkeys Lite). As for the allies, sure, I can get those. :) --—Sivius(T/C) 12:52, 3 May 2006 (PDT)
New stub bumps
I thought Barrister said that we don't have to manually bump and change each {{stub}} tag - and only change them as we update pages normally? Bleh - recent-changes-flooding++. --Sagacious 06:45, 7 May 2006 (PDT)
- The end consensus is that it isn't critical that every page be bumped now. However, if you decide to bump them, you MUST mark your edit as minor. This way we can hide them from our recent changes list. But again, it really isn't necessary, as the pages will naturally be touched over time. And little tiny sidenote not related: if a pirate name shows up as red when you link it in an infobox or article, go ahead and delink it. --Fannon 10:55, 7 May 2006 (PDT)
- I'm not easily annoyed, I was just under the impression we weren't bumping the new stubs. Ignore me & continue if it has been decided we can bump, just under minor edit. --Sagacious 14:52, 7 May 2006 (PDT)
Custom signatures
Just FYI, it's possible to customize your signature without using a template, and instead using the --~~~~ "Your signature with timestamp" button. Under the "User data" tab of Special:Preferences, copy the wiki markup from User:Sivius/sig into the "Nickname" field and check the "Raw signatures" box. Hope that saves a bit of time! --Yaten talk 19:52, 14 May 2006 (PDT)
