Portraits

All of the dual portraits that you have uploaded yesterday I have deleted for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are all of low quality resolution. When we upload portraits we save them directly as they are found through the gallery pages. Secondly, all of those portraits can be found through the portrait gallery link found on the pirate's page and are not to be uploaded onto the Yppedia. The Yppedia is not an image web server and should not be used as such. If you would like a place on the web to save all of those portraits, try something like PhotoBucket. And finally, all of those portraits were misnamed. The names were a little too generic if they were to be used on the Yppedia. -- Cedarwings ^(talk) 09:15, 24 February 2008 (PST)

Creating pirate articles

Hey it's great that you are creating pirate articles, but, if you want to reduce the amount of work others have to do to clean up your articles you might want to learn how to use the {{Infobox pirate}} ^(Usage) and to stub short articles {{piratestub}}. Also capitalizations for such things as fleet officer should be all lower case, and also linked.
