User talk:PokemonKings

From YPPedia

When making articles that are not finished please use the {{Inuse}} tag. Then it displays a message saying that the article is not finsihed and to disregard it. Please make sure you are willing to at least start writing the article before submitting the final product, which is not complete. Another option that is comenly used, is to write it out in a Word document, or use any other text processor, then simply copy and paste the document onto Yppedia. Uploading pirate image/messages

You can upload a pirate portrait image by using 'Upload file' in the toolbox in the lower left corner or by clicking on the red link on the pirate page. In your case the target image should be called Pirates-Georgeb.jpg so it will be shown on the page. You can send messages to other users by discussing their user pages. Feel free to try it out on User_talk:Alfwyn if you have further questions. --Alfwyn 05:40, 9 February 2008 (PST)

Aye, I got your message. You can find out about basic pirate article layout on the example page YPPedia:Sample_pirate_page. Some useful links in the navigation box (upper left corner) are 'Help' and 'Style guide' if you are looking for more reading on articles and editing in general.
Oh, and you can sign your messages with the signature icon directly above the edit box (second from right) - you can see how the string created by it expands to a signature by using the preview --Alfwyn 07:00, 9 February 2008 (PST)
I uploaded the portrait I found on the pirate page. Perhaps Howto:Upload_a_portrait explains the process better than I did. --Alfwyn 07:32, 9 February 2008 (PST)
