LSM page thanks
Thanks for fully fleshing that article out! --Guppymomma 21:51, 3 June 2006 (PDT)
Card Sharks
Ahoy! I had to delete your page for "Cards Sharks" because the correct name is Card Sharks, and that page already existed. --Barrister 11:17, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
Oops. That'll teach me to learn how to spell. Darkaardvark 11:25, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
Categorizing
Good idea on the events pages. However, please wrap the category link in <noinclude> and </noinclude> tags. This will prevent the main page from being categorized under Events. Thanks.--Fiddler 17:41, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
- Thanks for the tip. Darkaardvark 17:47, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
The Blade Ad Dicere
We don't mark crews that still exist as defunct because they... er, still exist. :) (On a more personal note, I got all excited to see it marked as defunct because that would mean Sho came back and disbanded it.Oh well!) --Zava 16:04, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
- *sigh* I'll figure out how to do this sutff properly eventually --Darkaardvark 21:10, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
- The infobox for the defunct flags says "Dormant or disbanded as of...." That implies that it is for dormant crews as well.--Kinocha 08:34, 25 July 2006 (PDT)
- I knew there was a reason why I marked it as defunct...how do you classify a "dormant" crew then, if Blade Ad Dicere isn't? Is there such a thing as a crew with 0 members, dormant or active? Would that qualify as defunct? --Darkaardvark 11:06, 25 July 2006 (PDT)

Swabbies
Ahoy! I see that you added "Underhanded" to the list of swabbie adjectives. I've never seen that one. Was it on your ship, or was it on a brigand ship? Thanks. --Barrister 13:15, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
- I've reverted it for now; I mistook the page to be all brigand names and adjectives. I wasn't aware that there was a difference, actually. If I do find an underhanded swabby, I'll change it back. --Darkaardvark 13:22, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
Cleaver Interview
Good idea on breaking it up into sub-pages. You may want to transclude those parts back into the main article; take a look at the Ice Ocean changelog to see what I mean and how to do it. If you do go that route I'd suggest removing the individual media file links and sticking with the list in the main article.--Fiddler 18:53, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- I'm planning on making some kind of a template (like the one for, say, bludgeons) that'll have all nine parts and the main page on it, for easy navigation. I suppose I could do something like the Ice changelog linking but it'd still leave me with a bunch of links on the main article and I think a template (if I can manage not to booch it technically) will be more elegant. I suppose at that point having the media files repeated on the subpages will become redundant, I'll likely take them out at that point. --Darkaardvark 18:57, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "a bunch of links on the main article." The utility of transclusion is that the entirety of text of the sub-article is included into the main article without actually having it as part of the article.--Fiddler 19:00, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- If it leaves all the text on the main article, won't that leave us with the same problem that the subpages were designed to avoid- a really, really long page? I think it's too much info to have all on one page. --Darkaardvark 19:08, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- Ahh. See, I like having the entire text all in one piece. I use sub-pages and transclusion to reduce the amount of information editors have to wade through, not what the reader sees in the article.--Fiddler 19:14, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
- I don't have a slow connection to test it on, but I'm guessing that it'd be pretty slow to load. Just following wikipedia/yypedia's "break up really large pages" policy. How about this- I'll try my way, and if we decide that it's not efficient when it's done, it can always be changed. I need the practice with templates and soforth anyways.
