User talk:Ceary

From YPPedia

Ahoy!

Ahoy and welcome to YPPedia! I noticed that the content here on your User page may be more aptly suited for a pirate article. While you can put anything you want in your User page, most people write something about themselves as a person there, while using the pirate page as a biography of the pixelated pirate in the game. An especially useful feature is the 'Infobox pirate' template. You might consult my article: Ljamethyst as an example. There are plenty more where that came from. Enjoy! --Chupchup 07:31, 25 April 2008 (PDT)

Edit Frequency

Ahoy! I was going through the recent changes, and I ran across the edits to Ceary. If you'd like to see the page history, take a look here, and I think you can see why it's sticking out at me :-/. I don't want to discourage you from editing, because it's good to see you putting so much effort into improving this page. However, it's always good wiki practice to get into using the Preview button instead of just posting stuff directly. That way, you know if you like what you're about to post before you actually do, and you can catch things like spelling/grammar, line breaks, formatting, and so on without having to waste time and effort making tons of minor edits. In any event, welcome to the YPPedia, and good luck in the future! -- Cedarwings (talk) 02:46, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Pirate flag ranks and crew titles

When adding a link for a pirate's flag rank we link to either member, titled (lord or lady), royalty (prince or princess) or monarch (king or queen). Crew titles (drunk, flirt, etc.) get linked to the title page. -- Cedarwings (talk) 03:07, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Pet colors

Have a look at the article for dog for help with figuring out what color Yourfears' dog is. Tawny cannot be the primary color for a dog. -- Cedarwings (talk) 06:21, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

The color is tawny for stout hounds the limited edition dogs. I do not see another color for it. Can you help me out?
Tawny is the secondary colour. =) --Belthazar451 08:52, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
As is mentioned in this post, the colors of that limited edition dog is black and tawny. -- Cedarwings (talk) 18:41, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Oops, was just editing that. --Alfwyn 18:52, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
