Please verify that the portraits you are uploading really are of the pirates you say they are. The portrait you uploaded as Image:Pirates-Silverdawg.jpg is actually of the pirate Venom.--Fiddler 14:11, 3 November 2006 (PST)

I'm not sure if the corrected version was uploaded before or after this message was sent, but I had noticed the error. It is now corrected. --Captain N

Hidey ho. Welcome to the wiki! Thanks for helping do some cleanup. I just have two quick notes for ya. There are a number of tags we use to label images that get uploaded, so take a peek at the list and remember to use {{portrait image}} in the future. The other minor thing is that often we like to wait a while to correct grammar, punctuation & spelling if we notice a user is doing multiple edits to a single article. The is just so a new user doesn't get confused by edit conflicts which can often make new YPPedians a little shy about contributing. This is outlined at YPPedia:Editors' Code of Conduct.
