Criticisms and Noted Errors
The heading makes it sound so mean. :P Anywho, we don't generally edit public statements to crews and flags, opting to leave them as they are found in game. Thanks! --Fannon 09:55, 4 November 2006 (PST)
- It was Wraiths of Acheron. --Fannon 10:08, 4 November 2006 (PST)
Edits to talk pages
Please don't make minor corrections to talk page messages later than a few minutes after the original message; odds are the person who owns the talk page has probably figured the message out, and it just spawns a "YOU'VE GOT A MESSAGE!" box, even though... there's no new message. Feel free to correct minor errors, just not too long after the message has been added. --Ponytailguy 09:54, 16 November 2006 (PST)
Comments
It was probably one of the instances you mentioned. I only commented on it because in the past there have been some issues where we've gotten complaints from other users that they've been upset by really rabid "sniping." Just wanted to make sure you're aware. All's good. --Guppymomma 07:46, 4 November 2006 (PST)
- Aye, I think around 60-80% of edits for a four hour period yesterday (early morning, Pirate Time) were from my crew. A bit of me hopes to create a monster that can be used for the forces of good. Oi. @.@ Now ignoring the ten "I'm an idiot" edits... and the 30 or so "Oh, that, forgot to change it" edits... and the... --Captain N 07:50, 4 November 2006 (PST)
Individual ship pages
Ships are personal property. We also don't allow pages for individual shacks, for much the same reason. :) --Ponytailguy 11:42, 12 November 2006 (PST)
- Unless you can produce some empirical and quantitative criteria to determine when a ship is "relevant" or "unique" enough to have a page, and are prepared to explain to the dozens of others why they don't qualify, the policy is simple: no pages for ships. As to the Lovestruck Leviathan, I'd suggest it's a game mechanic as well as just a ship. Perhaps not to the same degree as the other exception to the rule (El Pollo Diablo), but still far from "just another boat" (which, to the vast majority of the ocean, to say nothing of the other five oceans, is all a "special casino boat" is.) If one of your boats ever becomes an OM-provided supplement to wedding events as part of a broader package distributed to lucky couples, let me know and I'm sure we can discuss a page at that time. --Ponytailguy 15:40, 12 November 2006 (PST)

Pirates Without Portraits
Pirates Without Portraits is a little project of my own to put portraits on pirate pages, specifically those with empty portrait infoboxes. --Captain N 05:50, 4 November 2006 (PST)
