A sad announcement must be made...
Unlucky Christopher has met a sad demise. It is rumored that he was last seen on the Cliffs of Mercy...as he was never seen venturing down the treacherous mount, the Guild and all others can only assume that Unlucky Christopher is no longer with us.
Two days later, however, a number of shredded pieces of paper were spotted snowing down near the base of the cliffs. A Guild scout quickly snatched them all up and copied the scribblings on each piece in the order he found them. After further analysis, the Guild believes it is a clue as to Unlucky Christopher's tragic ending. Here is the list in the order it was copied:
- I search for treasure, yielding nothing.
- I was never bothered at the end of the bar.
- I thought a frisky friend would help, but didn't know where to look.
- I pretended to be someone else to win honest nurturing affection.
- I ordered more drinks and tried to /chat in bold and italic...but failed.
- I was lusting for more than just simple PoE.
- I celebrated by buying a fresh box of madder!
- I was visited by a stranger with a pest on his shoulder, man or woman I couldn't tell with that thing...
- I watched my gift wilt, almost to nothing...so in a rage I had to rearrange that lug.
- I was callously mocked from those on-high.
- I understood the godly strength of currency.
- I named him plainly after his color, and cheered with piratey glee!
- I was elated when I finally found a friend in my house.
After confirming that Unlucky Christopher never did return from the cliffs, several Guild members made stealthy entry into his villa and found this piece of paper:
What does it all mean? The Guild must know. Follow his clues and you will surely be rewarded well.
