My take on how the formatting should work for these different elements. Some work would have to be Parrdone on the multi-familiar/multi-ocean-familiar table, but this is quick-and-dirty. I like the consistency, but the multi-familiar issue you brought up is rather daunting. Bringing a framing device around the familiar part of the table would enable us to leave the "Familiars Won" outside the colored ocean boxes and thus have consistency between single and multiple familiars.--Fiddler 14:07, 20 February 2006 (PST)

Looks like you've fixed it already. I toyed with an external framing for the familiars, but was unsure how it would look if there was only one in the box. I like your example to the right, though I would probably change it so that each column had a width=50% (can you do that, or would that be 50% page width? Really like the shaded container. Modified it so that the columns are 50% wide each, but it highlights that there's no vertical sizing of the individual elements. :/ --AtteSmythe 21:18, 20 February 2006 (PST)

I think I prefer the first way better. The vertical uneven-ness looks even worse to me. If there comes a name that is horrendously long (Beatrix Indigo Valorian) in a multi-familiar table I suppose we could just set the box to be the only one in that row.--Fiddler 05:22, 21 February 2006 (PST)

You'd have to do it via cells of a table with different background colors to get vertical sizing. valign should be set to top as well if you decide to go this route. See the freeplay days chart on puzzle for an example. --Guppymomma 06:46, 21 February 2006 (PST)

That's exactly what I was thinking. The familiar template is already set up to be a cell of a table, so it shouldn't be too bad. Just change the table setup to BRs (all it really needs) --AtteSmythe 12:50, 21 February 2006 (PST)
