Template talk:Carp Table
From YPPedia
I'm going to grab actual screenshots of the pieces to pop in here. The templates are still good for discussion of carp strategies. --Guppymomma 09:17, 3 September 2005 (PDT)
Carp-pirce images broken
- Shro0m 22:36, 23 September 2005 (PDT): While images are broken, can you consider reverting all the way back to the templates? It's pretty meaningless to call the shapes by letter names, when a few of the shapes are non-obvious. Or even going so far as to reference them inline with full urls (the carp pieces happen to be on web2 for the most part): http://web2.puzzlepirates.com/wiki/images/6/67/Carp_t.png , http://web2.puzzlepirates.com/wiki/images/2/23/Carp_f.png , etc.
- Shro0m 22:41, 23 September 2005 (PDT): Especially in lieu of not knowing if/when the image issue will be resolved (as you note here:) User_talk:Bia.
- I'm actually trying to get the ringers to give us a hand and put the image warning into the actual YPPedia template so it shows up at the top of all pages as this issue affects more than just the carp page. Hopefully there will be a response soon. Also it's much easier to read comments if you sign them at the end of your comment. --Guppymomma 07:36, 24 September 2005 (PDT)
- I guess different wiki-comminuties prefer it a different ways. The forums and wikis I use prefer the name at the front so they know who's saying what (Hmm, like the YPP forums). To each his own. Sequential-threaded communication forms vary I suppose. Back on topic, I guess I should have watchedlisted this page, because I've commented on the now implemented approach at talk:known bugs. :-D And now, so I fit it: --Shro0m
- Also, mediawiki doesn't no-break the stupid sig-button-macro, just one more reason why its broken. I think it's probably better to just use three or four tildes in whatever markup is the most clear. --Shro0m
