Figured out how tax depends on population for low-population islands, and posted it here. Goodmanj 23:14, 2 October 2005 (PDT)
The taxes on the fort at Harmattan Island (Cobalt), population 136, are 3,503/week. There must be something funny going on there... I haven't found any other problems. Goodmanj 23:24, 2 October 2005 (PDT)

Can someone fix the alignment of the numbers in the chart on the tax baseline page? Thanks! --Barrister 15:55, 4 December 2005 (PST)
- As in centering them? --Guppymomma 10:00, 5 December 2005 (PST)

Is it true that attrection taxes are not scaled down by population? I just guesstimated that and I figured I might be totally wrong. --Kamuflaro 21:03, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Cire posted in Midnight Parley that the Black market on Midsummer (population 45) had a rent of around 8.3k. Hermes said the base was 20k. --Thunderbird 09:19, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
