Autobiography vs. Biography

It's very weird to see an autobiography written in the third person. It seems rather like a contradiction. Maybe since game-personae can't write real-world wiki articles we should just call them biographies instead (esp. when written in the third person)? Author's perogative of course, just voicing my opinion. --Shro0m 01:59, 1 October 2005 (PDT)

Isn't an autobiography pointing at who wrote it and not the grammatical person? It seems okay to leave as is. If more people contribute to it, then it could be switched to Biography. --Guppymomma 06:47, 1 October 2005 (PDT)

I went with the third-person mostly because I wanted the tone to fit with the rest of the Wiki. I think it would be jarring for a reader to find oneself suddenly put in a first-person narrative. Besides, I cribbed the format straight from Feegle, so if anyone's to blame, it's him!--Squidbeard 10:31, 1 October 2005 (PDT)

That doesn't require paying him 50 poe like Llama, does it? :) --Guppymomma 15:40, 1 October 2005 (PDT)

Haha, well I'll agree with Guppymomma then, that when anyone adds to the biography, that it be named as such. I only bring it up because autobiographies are written from the first-person. --Shro0m 15:25, 1 October 2005 (PDT)
