From YPPedia

I'm not entirely sure why my page was edited and my personal interests and trophy list was removed, but I feel that it's a bit unfair to do so seeing as how there are literaly dozens of people on here who have the same type of information posted on their profiles. Can someone please explain to me why my info was taken down? I have since resubmitted (edited, just in case) on my page as I'm a bit confused why it was removed in the first place. I'm fairly new to the whole Wiki thing and the format of it is a bit confusing in some ways, but if my page does need to be edited, by all means, please contact me in game FIRST and explain to me why and how I can change it, etc. Thank you. - Ronindh

See YPPedia:Policies_and_guidelines, Individual Pirate Articles, 1) Trophies are not permitted on pirate pages. Because there is a link Sage from your infobox directly to a profile which shows all of the trophies, it is unnecessary to have all the trophies on your pirate page. As soon as those other pirate pages are spotted with lots of trophies on them, they will also get edited and removed. -- Vorky 03:23, 2 May 2007 (PDT)

Ah, that I did NOT know. Thank you for pointing that out. - Ronindh 19:05, 2 May 2007 (CST)

Ahoy! Have a read through the Policies and guidelines to see what is permitted on individual pirate pages. You are not being targeted. Articles that have been recently edited appear in a list which is why after you have made changes someone can see. Articles that have not been changed recently are tougher to patrol since the Yppedia contains approximately 33,000 pages. The regular editors do our best to make sure that pages follow the Policies and guidelines and I'm sorry if you feel that your work is not important. If you wish to post information on the Yppedia about something personal that does not pertain to the pirate you play on, you can create a user page. And please remember that individual pirate pages do not belong to anyone and can be edited by anyone. If you have anymore questions please don't hesitate to ask. In my hastiness and impatience, as some of us are very prone to do/have a lack of/or too much of, I didn't "fully" read the guidelines, and once I finally did I realized exactly where I was wrong and why the changes were made and then deleted my previous post. Sorry for all the trouble. I understand now :) - Ronindh 17:58, 7 May 2007 (CST)
