I updated the page but didn't know if the crew name 'Independent Pirate' would go funky with the wiki figuring there is probably a page already about those type of pirates anyway. Any help on this would be helpful.

Nope, no article called Independent Pirate, but you could make it Independent Pirate (crew) like this Independent Pirate, if you want to avoid any possible naming conflict. Vorky 02:01, 26 July 2007 (PDT)
