Flag Tapestries.
Four of them, three near the back, 1 near the wheel. All of them unreplaceable! buying new ones is reasonable, but I can't place them, even after triplechecking its location...--Irashtar 09:17, 29 January 2006 (PST)
Moves
I always thought that a GF only got 2 moves per turn in Sea Battle..... can anyone confirm? I would do it myself, but the chances of me taking out a GF into battle are nil. :) --Redbeardsage 05:11, 15 February 2006 (PST)
- I'm pretty sure you're right; it definitely used to be three moves per turn, though. --Yaten talk 07:56, 15 February 2006 (PST)
- When I first took out a Grand Frig for pillaging (December 2004) it was only two moves per turn. According to this post from Tedv, that was changed to three moves per turn in release Release 2005-02-11.--Fiddler 16:41, 16 February 2006 (PST)
Maximum Pirates
There are several threads and posts saying that that the actual number is 150, and only due to lag (bug?) sometimes more than 150 pirates have been seen on board of a Grand Frigate, but never more than 159. most recent thread i found: http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=626202#626202
- Even if it's a bug, the current maximum number of pirates on a grand frigate remains at 159. That's what should remain on this page until the Ringers change it. --Barrister 17:00, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
150 are guaranteed, not 159. Would be a bad thing to have 159 players for - say - a bakeoff and they cannt board then. You can probably be whisked upon a full ship. I highly doubt they'd ever do it though. --Piplicus 16:36, 23 August 2006 (PDT)
- I'm not sure I agree. Has anyone recently failed to get the 151st pirate aboard? --Barrister 23:42, 23 August 2006 (PDT)
A few weeks ago I engaged a GF and it had 158 bots on it, which would suggest it wasn't just a lag thing when the player ship went to 159. ~ Sweetiepiepi
Influence Rings
Checking out Shark's screenshot of this past weekend...: http://www.notthegolfer.com/pics/pp/SP32-20061029-162419.png
I was thinking that screenshots of the blockade influence rings for each boat class would be a great addition to the wiki. (particularly action shots, if available) --Looseweed 1:49pm 10th October 2006 (EST)
Screenshots
I have the Fight Chub at my disposal, but I wouldn't have the foggiest what screenshots we need here. I'm quite happy to job anyone that does have a clue? --Lizzie 06:21, 16 January 2007 (PST)
Floor Plans
I made up the main deck floor plan (THAT was fun), but I need to double check it, I think, to make sure fits the standard. If someone else wants to, go ahead. I'm particularly concerned about railings, etc. Sashamorning 10:09, 15 February 2007 (PST)
- Follow-up question... the main deck is very large. Should we split it up into the different segments? Sashamorning 10:35, 15 February 2007 (PST)
- It's fine to leave it as one image. But can you make the prow use the Xs rather than Os? --14:42, 16 February 2007 (PST)
- Ah. Well, it looks like I'm going to have to go back and try this again. I guess I needed to read the instructions on Barrister's page first. I was going off other plans (and much less complex ones, as well). Sashamorning 20:01, 16 February 2007 (PST)
Midas screen shots
I'm about 2 days away from uploading a full set of Midas screen shots. I've just finished putting together a single image of the entire Main Deck. That leaves 5 much smaller rooms to edit and crop plus 3 identical crows' nests that i'll poach from the regular grand frigate. --Barrister 21:38, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
wrong prop in Aft Cabin Starboard
"Fancy Bar Segment (middle)" is listed as being one of the props in this scene, but that prop doesn't show in the screenshot, nor do I recall ever seeing one in any grand frig I've visited. Before I remove that prop from that list, I wanted to get independent confirmation first. Thanks! -- Franklincain (t/c) 10:58, 15 July 2012 (PDT)
- I just checked my GF, and there's no bar segment there. (Full disclosure, I have added some game tables to that scene, but I'm positive that I haven't trashed any existing props; so there definitely isn't a bar segment as standard equipment on a GF built circa mid-2010.) I suspect that someone was counting props on a ship that was undergoing renovations, and got a bit confused. (That scene just screams "turn me into a surprisingly seaworthy pub!" Mine would be filled with bar segments too, if all of me hearties hadn't moved to Doubloon-land, forcing me to leave my ships and follow 'em.) I second the motion for removal. --Ladodal 11:57, 15 July 2012 (PDT)
