Chat color?

I was thinking of making up a new page with the various chat colors? Blue are tells, tan is crew, purple is jobbing crew, etc. I couldn't find a page that mentioned this. Do you think if I started one? --Jdnx429 16:12, 27 June 2006 (PDT)

Character Limit

Does anyone know the character limit, or can you be bothered finding it out and posting it here? (Planning auto messages and don't have access to game right now.) Thankee --Lizzie 15:52, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

There seems to be a limit on the inputline of 240 characters (that is I can only use slightly shorter messages if prefixed by a '/tell piratename'). When using expressions that are expanded, the message doesn't get through if it is too long after expansion, the limit seems to be again around 240 characters. --Alfwyn 17:38, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Seems to be limited by the inputline length too. I was able to put up afk-messages up to 235 characters. --Alfwyn 18:10, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Just using '/af' should get 236 characters through, but why can't I use '/a' ? (did ye mean /afk /away ? - hey, where's the difference ?). --Alfwyn 18:13, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

subsections for types of filter

As it stands, piratification and comicification both have their own pages, but there isn't enough content about either to merit a full article. Does it seem sensible to merge them into this article as subsections here? --Therobotdude 14:30, 15 August 2013 (PDT)
