Atlantean?
Is Admiral Finius an Atlantean?--Remalle 14:09, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
- No. Admiral Finius is a Brigand King. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 14:15, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
- That's not quite what I meant - what I meant was, considering that he's obviously not human, and that the dragoons and Atlantean Statue share features with Finius, whether he might be from Atlantis. --Remalle 09:43, 4 October 2007 (PDT)
- There is no evidence to support that claim. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 16:40, 4 October 2007 (PDT)

Flotilla locations
I don't think the flotilla locations should be on yppedia if they are not updated fast enough. Many locations is months old. Anyone agrees? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karloskar2 (talk • contribs)
- They're not updated regularly, so your first thought is to remove them? Surely a better idea would be to, I dunno, update them more regularly? This is a wiki - it's a community effort. --Belthazar451 15:54, 2 September 2011 (PDT)
- A compromise might be a text label by the tracker that warns a reader if the location data is older than 3 days automatically. I am not sure if that is possible or not! Otherwise, these things will just sit here and tell readers that there's a flotilla at some location, when in fact there's not. That's just silly in my opinion! Also, no one seems to want to update them - which suggests that no one really relies on/uses/cares about them. It'd be hard work to ensure all the trackers are up-to-date, compared with the relative ease of deleting them (and the small amount of encyclopaedic knowledge we'd lose if we did so). --Therobotdude 09:14, 18 June 2014 (PDT)
- It's possible. We just need to add fields to the {{Flotilla tracker}} (Usage) template such as "cerulean updateyear=2014" and so forth, like the updateXXX fields in the {{Infobox flag}} (Usage) and Infobox crew. Then the template can emit a warning, categorize the page, etc. Chupchup 21:05, 18 June 2014 (PDT)
- Brilliant, perhaps that's the way forward. Perhaps we can also make use of the "edit flotilla" option that was mocked up here (and suggested here!) - with a view to making the trackers easier to update. --Therobotdude 03:40, 19 June 2014 (PDT)
