Stygian Alliance was a crew on the Viridian Ocean that was founded on April 21, 2008. The crew's flag was Evisceration. Its captain and founder was Arthurius.
Stygian basically means "referring to the River Styx". For the record, the River Styx is a river in Greek Mythology that leads to the Underworld (where you go when you die to be judged as good or evil). It also means gloomy, evil and shadowy, which explains the crew to perfection. We are merciless in our pillages. We target, we gun down and we fight ruthlessly! We pillage endlessly and we never finish without a bountiful surplus of booty. Yarr!

Crew Promotional Requirements
These are the minimum requirements to get promoted.
You will automatically be a jobbing pirate if you job with the crew.
Cabin Person is a rank only given for punishments.
You are automatically assigned this rank when you join the crew.
- Officer
You will need 2 piracy skills of Broad experience or higher and 2 piracy skills of Respected standing or higher (One MUST be in Battle Navigation). You must pass the Officer test before you are allowed to command a pillage by yourself. Otherwise a Fleet Officer or higher must be on board with you at all times. You require an Officer Badge to receive this rank.
- Fleet Officer
Fleet Officers must be trusted by the majority of the crew. You must also have 3 piracy skills of Solid experience of higher and 2 piracy skills of Master standing or higher. You must have been an active Officer in the crew for at least two weeks. A vessel is always a plus. You require an Officer Badge to receive this rank.
Senior Officers are hand picked by the Captain. They require immense trust from the majority of the crew. All piracy skills must be of an exceptional value. A vessel is generally required, also an acceptable standard of clothing is required. You also need to be in the crew for at least a month. A Senior Officer Badge is required for promotion.

You will only receive this rank in extenuating circumstances.
