Smokinaj
Smokinaj is a senior officer in the crew Non Compos Mentis and princess of the flag Perseverance on the Cobalt Ocean.
Smokinaj discovered piratey fun in March 2007 when she landed on Cobalt. As a greenie she jobbed for many a captain until fate brought her to job for Matinicus of Schroedinger's Cat. Impressed with the crews patience and knowledge of the game, she accepted his invitation to join this crew and found many new mates.
In Schroedinger's Cat crew she was encouraged and trained to become officer experiencing rough waters as many fine mates split from crew. Smokinaj witnessed two additional splits and though the pirates leaving were good mates and hearties of hers, she remained loyal to the Cat.
Smokinaj quickly moved through ranks, finacially assisted Zeddhead with the creation of crew game nights called "Schroedinger's Games," and earned the title of roustabout for expressing her oppinions openingly and through chat booches.
After Schroedinger's Cat was expelled from Polaris, she became a leading pirate on the hunt for like minded crews to create a new flag. This flag became known as Perseverance on December 24th, 2007. Her fellow crew mates elected Smokinaj to serve as a royal along with Bkrazy to represent her crew. Due to internal crew politics, Smokinaj left Schroedinger's Cat in March 24,2008. She joined Gingercookie in Essence of Kraken soon after and was elected once again to flag royalty. On April 14th, 2008, former Perseverance Royal, Bkrazy and Gingercookie merged their crews to Non Compas Mentis.
Smokinaj resides on Cormorant Island with her crewmates and close hearties Betsymae and Bootielegger. She assists hearties, Sirjason and Baccus by managing their ironworking stall on Prolix Purlieu and Dragon's Nest; and always enjoys a good hand of spades. She continues to sail in the hopes of one day becoming an ultimate sailor.
