These third-party search plug-ins were created to ease searching the YPPedia and the YPP forums.

These search plug-ins work for browsers using Apple's Sherlock standard. This includes Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Suite and Netscape 8. They can be installed by visiting the Mozilla Development site

• YPPedia - Searches articles in the main namespace of the YPPedia. Created by Thespian.
• YPPedia entirety - Searches articles in all namespaces of the YPPedia. Created by Orsino.
• YPPedia discussions - Searches all discussion pages on the YPPedia. Created by Orsino.
• YPP Forums - Searches posts on the YPP Forums. Created by Thespian.
• YPPedia Go Button - Functions as a search for the YPPedia using the Go button as opposed to the Search button. Created by Sprngweather.

These plugins can be offered to the public on personal website; instruction for this can be found at MozDev code generator and entering the appropriate plugin name.
