Numinous Nouns was a crew that sailed the Sage Ocean. The crew flew the flag of Hell's Wrath.
History of Numinous Nouns
Standing on a bet with Nooblar, when Audioscience achieved the fifth state of Ultimate, she decided that she had arrived at the time destined for the founding of a new crew. Thus, Numinous Nouns was born on 14 December, 2006. With her first mate, Seige, as leverage and brigand bait, Numinous Nouns set off to conquer portions of Sage, one league point at a time.
The crew had disbanded by June of 2007.
Public Statement
For those of you who are not avid users of thesaurus.com, numinous nouns refers to all the awesome nouns you could think of. Such as spoon, badgers, lamps, and biscuits!
Welcome to Numinous Nouns! Our chats will be full of friendly teasing and humor. Don't brush our crew off though, we have some great officers and we are always willing to train new members.
Promotion Requirements
(in order from least silliest hat to the most silliest hat)
- Cabin Person: Just ask and/or press that little button that says "Accept" when we offer you a spot. You must not drive us to insanity. And if you do, you must make up for it with baking us cookies.
- Pirate: You must show that you can follow the rules of the crew. This means sticking with a pillage throughout the battle; don't repeatedly leave us in the middle of a fight. Also you must participate in a few pillages with us and prove you are a hard worker.
- Officer: These people should be on and puzzling with us regularly. They need to get along with the crew. They should have the ability to lead a pillage, which will more then likely mean a good Bnav stat. Also, other stats shouldn't be low, considering the officers will be expected to help more than pirates on pillages. To achieve officer, you will need an officer test.
- Fleet Officer: Officers will be promoted to FO when they have put in time with the crew. This rank is for people who have shown that they are not just on this game for their own gain, but also for the advancement of the crew as a whole. You should be a devoted pillager and puzzler. Another way of achieving this rank is to contribute something unique and necessary to the crew. Finally, you must earn the trust of the SO's
- Senior Officer: This is the position of greatest trust. I will rely on these people for helping me with decisions. To make it to SO, it requires alot of time with the crew. You must earn the friendship or respect of the other SO's and myself. You must be a great help to the crew, pillaging or otherwise. Basically, its FO, but moreish.
