Novelty is an officer and carpenter of the crew Poison Apples and a member of the flag Infamous on the Meridian Ocean, formerly the Viridian Ocean.
History
Novelty claims to be a "veteran" of Puzzle Pirates, having been around on another account "in the times of Pay for Play and Dogs of War," before the Viridian ocean became the Meridian. Though that was a long time ago, and Novelty has since then moved on, created a new account, and upon creation of her character, joined the crew Poison Apples under the flag Rage. She is fiercely loyal to the crew, and follows Malificent around like a lost puppy.
Novelty is an officer and carpenter of the Poison Apples, though she claims she aims to be a senior officer, muse, princess, and governess of an island in due time.
Together, with her pet crab Pinches, Novelty runs about the Meridian with a chipper, if not ditzy attitude and an obnoxious habit of emoting almost absolutely everything.

Novelty's various obsessions of pretty things include:
- Rare ships, particularly the Verdant, Lagoon, and Steam class, even though she has yet to own a single boat
- Atlantean furniture and trinkets
- Hearties with attractive names to show off in her top hearty list
- Lines of poetry to post in her house news
- Anything shiny, golden, or violet in color.
