Marlowe Island is an outpost island in the Ursa Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Sayers Rock, Isle of Keris, and Edgar's Choice.

History
Marlowe Island was originally located on the Hunter Ocean. A rock directly north of the dock reads, "This island were fashioned by KingOfCards."
This island is probably named for fictional detective Philip Marlowe who was created by mystery writer Raymond Chandler.
Marlowe was given to the Brigand King flag Jinx as part a series of island openings announced by Artemis seen here. The island was opened for colonization on August 22, 2009.
Blockades
Marlowe I, 2009-08-22: Walking Down the Plank colonized Marlowe, defeating Jinx and Castigo X in a three-round sinking blockade. Seas the Day is listed as a contender, this was a booched drop by Seas the Day as they were talking Walking Down the Plank through the steps of declaring a blockade. Seas the Day assisted Walking Down the Plank, but did not contend against them.
Walking Down the Plank transferred Marlowe to Seas the Day on September 21, 2009.
Marlowe II, 2010-03-27: Rebel Rousers successfully took Marlowe in the three-round sinking blockade from Seas the Day.
Marlowe III, 2010-04-25: Odyssey successfully took Marlowe in the three-round non-sinking blockade, Marlowe was part of an event called "The Marlowe Giveaway" in which flags that had never owned an island could take part and practice the art of blockading.
Marlowe IV, 2010-05-15: Odyssey successfully defended Marlowe in a three-round non-sinking blockade from A New Dawn.
On November 16th 2010, Odyssey transferred Marlowe to Golden Gauntlets.
Marlowe V, 2010-05-29: Odyssey successfully defended Marlowe against a four strength Vargas attack.
Marlowe VI, 2010-12-18: Good to Go successfully took Marlowe from Golden Gauntlets.
Marlowe VII, 2011-02-05: Good to Go successfully defended Marlowe from a five strength Vargas attack.
Marlowe XIII, 2011-09-18: Happy Hour took Marlowe in a flag sit against Devastation due to not being able to defend.
Marlowe XIV, 2011-10-01: Happy Hour successfully defended Marlowe from a 2 strength Barnabas the Pale attack.
