Lion's Pride is a crew belonging to the flag Sphinx, on the Meridian Ocean. It was founded in the year 2005 on July 24 by Lionqueen on the Viridian Ocean.

Welcome to the Lion`s Pride !

We are always looking for new talents in our crew and will accept anybody. If you have a hidden talent in a certain area feel free to send any online officer a /tell and we wil be happy to let you join. Enjoy as a Jobber, get more fun as a Full Member ^_^

Crew Articles

Our rules are simple and should make common sense:

1. If ye leave during pillaging or battle without telling an officer why, ye will not receive booty or it will be cut. Ye may also be demoted or expelled from the crew if this has happened more than once. Likewise, when a sea battle starts, ye are expected to continue working. This is the most important time to work. It is not a time to laze about.
2. If ye do not work, ye will be planked and yer pay will be nothing or cut. There are no free rides.
3. No personal battles or trades whilst ship is sailing. Anyone caught doing this will be planked.
4. Promotions will ONLY occur at a port. Also, booty can only be divided at port. Asking repeatedly during pillages will result in planking.
5. When we need you to gun, we'll ask you. There are other aspects of the ship that often must be taken care of first. Please don't repeatedly ask us if you can gun, it's very disruptive.
6. Ye need to team up in battles. If ye do not understand teaming, please ask an officer or pirate aboard. If ye do not and are seen not teaming, ye may be planked. If officers tell ye not to use spacebar, ye are expected to comply. Ye need to observe the chatbox during pillages in case an officer is giving ye a message.
7. Respect the officers. Do not sass them. Talking back to, swearing at, or disrespecting an officer will result in planking. If ye learned something different than an officer is suggesting on another crew, discuss it privately with the officer -- not in front of the whole crew. Doing so only results in battles lost and less booty to divide.
8. After pillaging, the Officer who pillaged with our Crew Ship is responsible for restocking. Ensure there is enough in the hold to restock prior to dividing the booty. Any Officer who does not restock our Crew Ship will be demoted. In addition, the Officer is responsible for returning our Crew Ship to home port. If this is not possible for any reason, ye will be expected to take care of the issue as soon as possible the next day and to leave a note explaining it.

By joining our crew you agree to all our rules and will respect any SO entirely.

Please note that all of this it to ensure that the crew and its members have the best Puzzle Pirates experience and that the crew expands in the right direction.

Officers' Rules

Anyone found breaking any of these rules and cannot give a trusting reason will be demoted or even expelled. Any member of Royalty reserves the right to do this without consulting the offender, and then they may petition for their place in the crew back.

1. Do not steal, access or withdraw PoE from ship that doesn`t belong to you (any offenders will be immediately blackspotted and a petition will be sent to an Ocean Master).
2. Do not abandoned ships at sea, all booty onboard will be gone.
3. If you own a ship you must LOCK it after pillaging due to number of thefts going on.
4. Officers with or without a ship can always pillage and practice Bnav on our Crew Sloops (Coarse Sardine or Tall Hagfish), NOT bigger ships. Do not steal, access or withdraw PoE from our Crew Ships, PoE left in the Crew ship belong to our Crew funds. If it is over 1000 PoE it must all be taken to the Grand Frigate Famous Gurnard. Crew funds will be use for buying Frigates or War chest.
5. Senior officers can always pillage and Bnav practice on our Crew Sloops or our Crew Cutter Helpful Chub. Do not steal, access or withdraw PoE from our Crew Ships, PoE left in the Crew ship belong to our Crew funds. If it is over 1000 PoE it must all be taken to the Grand Frigate Famous Gurnard. Crew funds will be use for buying Frigates or War chest.
6. Senior Officers should note that war brig Clever Ling and war frigate Active Troutare available for pillage and Bnav practice. Due to number of thefts the ships will be unstocked, if you wish to use it then you can stock it, pillage, sell the stock and withdraw all PoE from the coffers. Please make sure you are always improving your Bnav to get ready for blockades.
7. Do not take our Crew Ships to an uncivilized island and leave it, the Officer must return our Crew Ship to Dragon's Nest. Do not leave the ship, NO other officer will take over the pillage or port the ship for you. It is your responsibility to sail back to home port, if this doesn't happen you will be Demoted or even Expelled. (This is a hassle for everyone involved and wastes everyone's time).
8. Any Officer owning a ship may pillage at any time but if they leave the ship NO other officer will take over the pillage or port the ship for you. It is your own ship, you must take care of it AT ALL TIMES.

So to review: Officers must have at least Bnav respected, they may only pillage in Sloops and will only be promoted to FO when they have proven themselves to the SO. Demotions will occur if any of the 7 rules are broken and you will not be re-promoted till you have proven yourself.

Restocking Instructions

Our Crew Ships restocking instructions are specified on the Officer bulletin board, here are the Guidelines:

• Sloop Minimum Restocking: 25 Rum, 80 Small cannon balls.
• Cutter Minimum Restocking: 30 Rum, 120 Small cannon balls.
• War Brig Minimum Restocking: 100 Rum, 300 Medium cannon balls.
• War frigate Minimum Restocking: 100 Rum, 300 Large Cannon

Promotion Requirements

To be a Cabin person: Just ask.

To be a Pirate: Will be promoted automatically within 24 hours.

To be an Officer: You need to have Gunnery Solid plus 3 piracy skills at least Solid and Battle Navigation at standing Respected, this is because too many officer have been taking out the crew ships without any experience.

To be a Fleet officer: You will be promoted when the Captain and SO think you are ready.

To be a Senior officer: You will have been in the crew for a long time and be totally trusted by all SO.
