Jacopo
Jacopo is the captain of the crew The Dark Sword on the Cobalt Ocean.
Biography
Jacopo began his career on the Cobalt Ocean in September of 2007. He needed some experience, so he looked to the older pirates for some guidance. Needing practical experience, he began puzzling for the Kirin Island navy.
He recalls the first pillage he participated in:
- There we were, driving forward on the ocean. My real skills lie in carping, so I went to town, patching holes and bringing that red down. ARGH!!! It was great, the sea spray and the wood chips all over my face. I had never felt so free. Then on the horizon came a ship at breakneck speed. The adrenaline rushed through my body, threating to tear it at the seams. My heart raced so hard i nearly dropped my hammer into the ocean. But i put on my game face, and went to work, fixing what i could. I feel like our battle navigator thought the point was to run into cannon balls. But who was i to talk, i was just a jobber with little experience. Finally the grapples were thrown and the crews clashed. Ahh, silly me. I had forgotten to practice my swordfighting. I held my own, but was quickly sidelined. We still won, barely, and I made what would become the start of a vast fortune.
After that, Jacopo began jobbing with many crews, saving up his PoE. In early October 2007, Jacopo joined the Silver Slayers crew of the Silver Assassins flag.
On October 25, 2007 only two weeks after joining SS, Jacopo broke free and created The Dark Sword, a crew that would become renowned in fame. Instead of creating his own flag, he decided to sail under the direction of more experience persons and reap the friendhips and advice that they could offer. The Rebellion of the Dog Star, after getting to know Jacopo, offered him a place in their ranks and he accepted.
Jacopo has not been seen on Cobalt since Febuary 18, 2008 and he has a special friend anxiously waiting his return to the pirate world.
